The TROY - Agroforestry – Afforestation with Natural Almond Orchard Project is based on changing the use of land from extensive, uncontrolled animal over-grazing and uncontrolled anthropogenic land and natural structure degradation to sustainable Agroforestry production systems, restoring natural land cover, and creating a landscape of biological and productive corridors that produce financial, social and environmental services for the region.
