Á Arnaldsstöðum í Fljótsdal voru gróðursettar um 68 þúsund plöntur sumarið 2022, greni fura og ösp. Gróðurfar er að langstærstum hluta graslendi, þ.e. tún í órækt. Ekkert annað verkefni YGG býr yfir þeirri einsleitni og verður gaman að fylgjast með breytingum á líffjölbreytni næstu árin. Arnaldsstaðir er einnig sérstök jörð að því leiti að álfar eiga búsetu í fjallinu fyrir ofan bæinn. Við vonum því að skógurinn bæti enn frekar búsetuskilyrði þeirra.
