Project Description

Iskur Siverek Solar Farm (SF) is a large-scale Greenfield renewable type of bundled solar power plants, located in Siverek district of the province of Şanlıurfa in Türkiye with the operation start date of 06/06/2024. The purpose of the project is to provide renewable electricity to the Türkiye’s grid system through harnessing solar energy. Project aims reducing the dependency on fossil fuel-based electricity generation in Türkiye, hence reducing the local environmental pollution and contributing to combatting global climate change. Iskur Siverek SF has an installed capacity of 22 MWe, providing 62,500 MWh/year clean electricity to the national grid system, and achieving 39,130 tCO2 of emission reductions annually. Project activity is expected to achieve 391,308 tCO2 emission reductions during the 10-year crediting period.
