Project Information
Fossil fuels account for nearly two-thirds of global Greenhouse Gas “GHG” emissions. Scientists advise that significant volumes of oil, gas, and coal must be left in the ground - unextracted and unburned - through 2050 to stay in alignment with the United Nations Paris Climate Agreement. PHH is leading a new era of fossil fuel “prospecting” that leaves hydrocarbon reserves unextracted and unburned, permanently. PHH eliminates 100% of GHG emissions before emission as compared to curbing emissions that have already entered the atmosphere. PHH has environmental co-benefits that eliminate the extreme soil, air, and water pollution and degradation caused by drilling and fracking.
