On our journey to develop DAC CO2 technology that is environmentally friendly, cost-effective to produce, and commercially viable, we realized that all the answers lie in Mother Nature. Staying true to our company slogan, *"Innovations Inspired by Nature,"* we always begin by studying the fundamental principles of the natural world. This time, developing a DAC CO2 technology that uses water to capture carbon dioxide was no exception.

After nearly two years of intensive R\&D, we’ve created a groundbreaking solution that could one day remove excess CO2 from our atmosphere. The core principle of our technology is simplicity: it operates using only water and electricity, recycling the same water continuously. Each device captures 1 ton of CO2 in just 7 to 14 days.

Our vision is to deploy this technology to capture CO2 directly from emitters, such as coal power plants. By combining solar energy with conventional electricity, we achieve the best possible balance between CO2 captured and CO2 released. For perspective, we’ve calculated that generating 1 kWh of electricity at an average coal power plant emits approximately 8 kg of CO2. Our DAC device consumes around 0.5 kWh per operation, meaning that over 14 days, the energy used will generate roughly the same 1 ton of CO2 that the device captures.

What sets our solution apart is the synergy between direct air capture (DAC) and source capture. While our DAC device captures 1 ton of CO2 from the air with a concentration of 410 ppm every 7 to 14 days, an upgraded version of the same technology can capture 1 ton of CO2 at the source in just 20 minutes. By merging these two approaches, we can significantly reduce CO2 emissions at their origin while also removing the carbon that’s already in the atmosphere.

Since 2012, we have carried out all our research and development independently, fully funded by our own resources. This stems from our belief that making a real impact is more important than seeking financial gain.&#x20;
